U.S. Army Drops Jonathan Majors Adverts
The U.S. Army spoke about Jonathan Majors’ arrest and said it would sever ties with him for now. Cops arrested the Ant-Man and the Wasp: Quantumania star in connection to a domestic dispute on Saturday.
“The U.S. Army is aware of the arrest of Jonathan Majors, and we are deeply concerned by the allegations surrounding his arrest,” said Laura DeFrancisco, spokesperson for the Army Enterprise Marketing Office to the Army Times.
Jonathan narrates and appears on-camera during an advertisement from the “Be All You Can Be” campaign. The campaign airs during the NCAA men’s college basketball tournament or March Madness.
“While Mr. Majors is innocent until proven guilty, prudence dictates that we pull our ads until the investigation into these allegations is complete,” Laura added.
Jonathan’s Lawyer Claims His Innocence
Amid The Army and Jonathan Majors’ cutting off ties, Priya Chaudhry, Jonathan’s criminal defense lawyer, also claimed he is innocent.
On Sunday, she told Fox News Digital that she expected the charges to be dropped.
“Jonathan Majors is completely innocent and is probably the victim of an altercation with a woman he knows.
Priya, however, explained that the legal team is currently “gathering and presenting evidence to the District Attorney” and expects the accused to walk free.
Jonathan’s lawyer added that the team’s “evidence includes video footage from the vehicle” where the incident happened. They also have evidence from a driver and others who witnessed the incident, plus “two written statements from the woman recanting these allegations,” which Priya says are most important.
The defense lawyer continued, adding that all the evidence gathered indicates that Jonathan didn’t assault the alleged victim. She explained that her client was arrested because an arrest needed to be made.
“Unfortunately, this incident came about because this woman was having an emotional crisis, for which she was taken to a hospital yesterday. The NYPD is required to make an arrest in these situations, and this is the only reason Mr. Majors was arrested. We expect these charges to be dropped soon,” it concluded.

Jonathan Majors’ Arrested On Charges Of Assault
According to a police report obtained by the outlet, Jonathan was taken into custody without incident on Saturday. Cops charged the Devotion star with strangulation, assault, and harassment.
An NYPD Detective said the Creed III star was taken to Manhattan Central Booking. Police also say they responded to a call from inside an apartment building. They said Jonathan was involved in a domestic dispute with a 30-year-old woman there.
“The victim informed police she was assaulted,” an NYPD DCPI spokesperson said. “The victim sustained minor injuries to her head and neck and was removed to an area hospital in stable condition.”
The Manhattan District Attorney’s office charged Jonathan with two counts of assault in the third degree and aggravated harassment in the second degree. They also charged him with attempted assault in the third degree and harassment in the second degree, according to documents.
Moreover, a judge granted a limited order of protection against the actor, and Jonathan is expected in court on May 8.
Thankfully, an investigation is ongoing on Jonathan Majors’ arrest. Hopefully, the evidence gathered will prove or disprove his claim of evidence and lead to justice.
