The upcoming Ultimate Spider-Man #3 is set to bring Ultimate Bullseye and Kingpin into the Ultimate Universe. Ahead of the issue’s release, artist Marco Checchetto is giving fans a look at the new designs for these iconic Marvel villains. These detailed looks give fans their best look yet at the Kingpin and Bullseye of this universe. While Kingpin has been seen in prior issues, Bullseye was only shown once as an “unnamed henchman” to the King of Crime.
Ultimate Bullseye And Kingpin
Marco Checchetto’s Ultimate Bullseye and Kingpin are not too far from their looks in the main Marvel Universe. This Bullseye is in all black with a sleek mask. His mask also adorns the iconic black and white bullseye symbol. The preview art also gives a look at Bullseye unmasked. While it is unclear who will be under the mask in the Ultimate Universe, the bald character contains a glowing eye with a bullseye-like scar around it. Meanwhile Ultimate Kingpin is pretty much the same Wilson Fisk from other worlds. Although, he appears slightly more menacing in the Ultimate Universe.
According to Marvel, Ultimate Spider-Man #3 finds Spider-Man teaming up with the Green Goblin of the Ultimate Universe. This version of the Goblin is apparently on the straight and narrow, attempting to do more good than harm. Together, the two vigilantes work to take down Bullseye. All in an attempt to expose the secrets of the cabal controlling North America.
Same Characters, Different Universe
Ultimate Bullseye and Kingpin are not the only familiar faces popping up in Ultimate Spider-Man. In the Ultimate Universe, Peter Parker is married to Mary Jane with two kids. He works at the Daily Bugle with his Uncle Ben and several versions of Spidey’s friend and foes have popped up. Recently, Marvel revealed that an Ultimate version of Gwen Stacy will be showing up in the fourth issue.
Ultimate Spider-Man #3 is on sale 03/27.
