Marvel has revealed the members forming the Ultimate Sinister Six. Jonathan Hickman and Marco Checchetto’s Ultimate Spider-Man #9 is about to have this version of the evil group strike. 1964’s Amazing Spider-Man Annual #1 saw some of the titular character’s greatest enemies banding together to stop the wallcrawler. This team included iconic villains Doctor Octopus, Vulture, Sandman, Electro, Mysterios, and Kraven the Hunter. For a while, Marvel has teased a new formation of this sinister team in the Ultimate Universe to take on Spider-Man and Green Goblin. Now, Wilson Fisk is ready to send this team on their first mission.

The covers and solicitations for Ultimate Spider-Man issues #8 and #9 reveal this new Ultimate Sinister Six. Alongside Kingpin, Mysterio, Kraven the Hunter, Mister Negative, Mole Man, and a male Black Cat are ready to take on Spidey and his pals. The Ultimate Sinister Six fully come together on Luciano Vecchio’s variant for September’s Ultimate Spider-Man #9. However, the current Ultimate Spider-Man arc is winding down with this week’s issue #6. While next month’s Ultimate Spider-Man #7 kicks off the arc leading to the face-off with the Ultimate Sinister Six.

Solicitations for the seventh issue reveal the path to this Ultimate Sinister Six showdown. It states that after a showdown with Kingpin, Spider-Man, and Green Goblin deal with some self-reflection. The two heroes are not as prepared as they believed to change the world. So, Harry and Peter get to work as Ben and Jonah seek out “the truth”.

The Path To The Ultimate Sinister Six

Meanwhile, the eighth issue reveals that the Ultimate Sinister Six are taking shape. While Peter and Harry get to work, so does Kingpin. He forms a new team to deal with his hero problem. This leads readers into the ninth issue which reveals the new supervillain group lineup. The official solicitation reveals that the villainous group’s first member goes toe-to-toe with Goblin and Spidey. Who will come out on top?

Ultimate Spider-Man #6 is on sale 06/19.
