When it comes to co-op games, you have a few options with your friends. You could heist banks and art museums, cook up delicious food, shoot zombies to no end, and more! Have you thought about keeping a train going though? Chances are you haven’t, but I can guarantee you’ll want to soon. Unrailed is the latest co-op title from publisher Daedalic Entertainment and developer Indoor Astronaut. It’s cartoony and looks like a lot of fun, but has been in Steam Early Access for some time. We won’t have to wait much longer though. Unrailed fully releases on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Nintendo Switch on September 23rd, bringing the fun over to consoles along with PC. You can find the latest trailer below.

Unrailed, as you probably have guessed, involves getting a train as far as you can. There’s a lot of rocks and trees in the way though, so you and your team will have to work together to clear it along with getting tracks down. It may not sound exciting, but the gameplay gets very hectic as time goes on. Will you and your team be able to get the train to the finish line? Only time will tell when Unrailed releases late next month.

The full release for Steam brings many new features to Unrailed, all of which included in the console versions at launch.  There’ll be a new biome, set on the planet Mars. This is promised to be the most difficult challenge yet and will require some serious co-operation. Similar to the other updates though, you can expect some more wagons to be added creating different gameplay modifiers. These are of course joined by various bug fixes and minor improvements to improve quality-of-life.

This is a really exciting time for Unrailed. Its fast-paced, frantic gameplay is sure to surprise console players. If you’ve played on PC though, I’d love to hear your thoughts on
