The team at developer House House has some exciting news to share today! Untitled Goose Game, their silly puzzle-stealth game, will be releasing on PS4 and Xbox One on December 17th. Now owners of those consoles will be able to honk, cause chaos, complete goals, and more! With the game’s release, there will be a special launch discount pricing the game at $14.99. This is 25% off the regular price of $19.99 and will last for two weeks following the release. Unfortunately, the game will remain at full price on both the Epic Games Store and the Nintendo eShop.
On top of the release, there’s special news for PS4 and Xbox One users looking to play the game. PS4 users are going to get a unique theme, featuring your favorite goose atop a pile of junk. As well, the controller light bar will flash orange cause you wanted your controller to be a goose. On the Xbox side of things, though, you can get the game with an active Xbox Game Pass subscription. If you aren’t already subscribed to the service, you can do so here. If consoles aren’t entirely your thing, there’s still might be some news for you. Untitled Goose Game will be coming to both Steam and itch.io, giving you several more ways to purchase the game, especially if the current options don’t entirely suit you.
Haven’t heard of Untitled Goose Game before? It’s a puzzle-stealth game where you take control of a small, honking goose. Your goal is to complete a checklist of goals that wreak havoc on the town. Oh, and you do a lot of honking, cause you’re a goose. It’s even been nominated at The Game Awards this year. What more could you ask for? You can purchase the game right now for $19.99 (or the reduced price on either upcoming console).
Untitled Goose Game isn’t the only game to feature your favorite goose. A modder recreated the goose inside Resident Evil 2, which you can read more about here. Are you going to purchase the game on either platform? If you’ve already played it, what did you think of the game?
