V Rising: How to Enter the Sacred Silver Mine

There’s always a silver lining.

Silver and vampires mix as well as drinking and driving, but in V Rising, you have to carry Silver if you want to purchase human stuff. The best place to get Silver is in the Sacred Silver Mine. It’s also a prime location and arena for a boss fight, namely Magnus the Overseer. However, as soon as you get to the Sacred Silver Mine in the Silverlight Hills area (West of the map), a locked gate will greet you. I’m here to help you circumvent that gate and enter the Sacred Silver Mine.

Sacred Silver Mine in V Rising, if you’re still looking for it, is located on the West of the map, due North of the Silverlight Hills region. It’s north of the city in Silverlight.

Once you get there, the gate is locked, and the lever to open it is behind the gate. You can also see Magnus the Overseer inside the Sacred Silver Mine area if you stand near enough the gate. He usually won’t do anything and won’t come out to fight you, even if you kill his gate guards.

On the right side of the Sacred Silver Mine in V Rising, you can spot a rather rough and guarded pathway that leads to the side of the mines.

If you follow this path continuously, you’ll eventually reach a cave that leads down to the Silver mining area. You’ll have to fight through this area all the way to the front gate unless you have the Human Form ability (from Bane the Shadowblade boss).

On a side note, the Human Form ability is highly recommended for this run so you don’t have to fight the mine guards and wear yourself down before you get to Magnus.

You also might want to activate the gate winch to open the gate before fighting Magnus, so you have a good retreat plan if the fight goes South.

Last but not least, if you want additional help in fighting Magnus or the guards, you can also kill the Slave Masters in the Sacred Silver Mine and free the slaves. They will fight the guards and provide distractions for you.

V Rising is available on the PC and PlayStation platforms.
