Varesa’s Demo Shows Off Her Fighter’s Skills and Gives a Sneak Peek of a New Genshin Impact Character

A fighter and a chef

After the massive hate that Varesa suffered as her drip marketing appeared, it seems that she will have a greater acceptance among the players. This is all due to the incredibly good impression that the Genshin Impact demo of Varesa gave for everything happening in the video. Besides, nobody expected this cute pastel cow-like fighter to play metal music for her presentation for Teyvat Wrestling Entertainment. Yet, the surprises didn’t stop there because Genshin Impact prepared a main course in this same demo, the brief appearance of Escoffier.

Compared to Varesa’s first appearance, her character demo got a wave of positive comments from Genshin Impact players in seconds. Among the comments that stood out were that many were excited to pull for her, that Varesa is very cute, and that they were not expecting the metal music. Besides, Teyvat’s characters have better animation and VFX for their demos and presentations every time. But the most observant noticed a crucial detail, and that is that when Varesa is in the eating contest, a character with a chef’s hat and a Cryo Vision appears from behind for a few seconds.

This mysterious character appears in the Genshin Impact leaks as Escoffier, supposedly a Fontaine chef. Also, if we consider the long hair and the elements that make Escoffier look like a chef, her silhouette fits perfectly with those of the Special Program 5.3 roadmap. We already know some silhouettes in this exact roadmap, such as Varesa, Ifa, Iasan, and Mizuki. So there are only two more characters to discover from the road map and see this chef’s pretty face.

Hopefully, there will be a special event with Fontaine or some of her characters to meet this culinary expert now that we are still in Natlan. I would like to see a food contest where Varesa can participate or a cooking duel with Xiangling.
