In the Reddit post, the Virginia father describes his issue and concern for his daughter’s safety. The father does not trust his ex-wife’s new fiancé at all. However, this dad seems to have a very valid reason to be worried. The man his ex is set to marry was reportedly convicted of “aggravated sexual battery against a minor” in Virginia. Tier 3 is classified as one of the more serious levels to which an offender can be assigned. Being a sexual predator of any caliber is already a major red flag.

They are also giving him an idea of what legal actions to take. The father states that he is currently in a custody battle with his ex-wife. The man wants either no unsupervised contact with the child or, better yet, no contact at all. This Virginia father is doing everything in his power to keep his child safe. Hopefully, this is a no-brainer for any judge looking into the custody battle.
Unfortunately, this appears to be a fairly common occurrence. Sexual predators are scanning for single mothers to try to manipulate. Despite how disgusting this behavior is, it does exist. While this father from Virginia continues to fight for the safety of his child, hopefully, this can also spread awareness.
