Karma came at the right time for a customer who made a point of being loud and annoying to a Walmart employee in Virginia until her card was declined, putting her in her place. A video on X showed a disgruntled customer shouting and making derogatory remarks at a staff member, mocking them.
“Yeah, it can get real, cause you can meet me outside and clock out right now,” she bellowed, pointing outside, daring the employee to step out so they could fight. “Oh, please put your hands on me, oh come on,” she teased in a singsong voice, “Oh, please touch me, cause the moment you touch me is the moment your [expletive] is going down [expletive].” As the customer was entering her PIN in the register, she continued, “Oh, but you’re still talking, though. Oh ain’t no action cause you ain’t gonna touch me. Ain’t not gon touch me, cause you’re afraid to lose your job. You need your job, baby. Yeah, you’ve got to pay your bills, sis. Shut the [expletive] up,” the disgruntled customer quipped.
Soon, the momentum of her bickering quieted down as she tried to make her payment. “It probably ain’t gon go through,” she said, still trying to input her pin. “Unable to process transaction, wow,” she read out, suddenly quiet. After trying it several times, acting confused as to why it was not going through, “Okay, I’ll be right back,” she said, walking away abruptly. The person behind the camera stifled a laugh as the customer scurried away in shame while online user dropped their thoughts.
“She was loud till the register humbled her,” a netizen wrote in the comments. “I love karma. Talking all that [expletive] about the worker needing their job and then her cards declined… 😂,” another joked. The jokes kept rolling in. “Lmao. Talking smack about the employee needs their job to pay the bills while already knowing her card ain’t gonna work anyway,” a user wrote. “Looks like she needs that lil job too 😂😂😂. Give sis an application if y’all hiring,” another jested.
One X user said, “What are you doing talking about other people’s finances when you’re out here buying $50 worth of merchandise on ‘hopes and dreams’. I’m sorry that’s not an acceptable form of payment at Walmart.” Another added, “I don’t understand why people go to the store with insufficient funds like some money is going to magically appear. 😂😂😂”
A last user wrote what they would have done if they were in the employee’s shoes. “I would’ve paid for all of it even if she was cussing me out. ‘Yep, you’re right, I DO need this job so I can bless people like you who sincerely need it. Merry Christmas, bookie. ❤️’”
