The Walking Dead isn’t messing around anymore.
If you’re a TV/movie producer trying to block spoiler leaks, the internet can be a nightmare. Production companies have to jump through hoops to prevent twists getting spoiled before broadcast. However, AMC seems determined to prevent the seventh season of The Walking Dead from being spoiled. They have filmed eleven death scenes to prevent Negan’s victim from being revealed before the show returns.

“Anyone want to talk about spoilers with me? No, didn’t think so.”
This news comes via TheHollwoodReporter, who goes on to explain;
“Sources tell THR that each of the 11 cast members involved in the scene have already filmed a death scene. The Walking Dead producers and the episode director will then work with the show’s editors and pick the character who does indeed die.”
Season 7 will pick up exactly where the previous season left off and fans will finally see who Negan’s victim is. According to THR, the only clue Robert Kirkham gave to the victim’s identity is that they are;
“beloved to everyone.”
The extra security might also be due to the use of drones by die-hard fans trying to get a glimpse of secrets that way. The message AMC is sending is clear, though; fans won’t get Walking Dead spoilers without a fight.
