Your phone is a secret stove.

This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

We’ve joked about how playing Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile turns your phone into a portable oven due to overheating. Whether it’s due to the game’s wobbly optimization on Android, or whether the specific device in question is a potato. Case in point: Warzone Mobile is so poorly optimized for Android devices, a user has managed to cook an egg on his phone!

Riggs YT channel has recently posted a video, showing his editor trying to play Warzone Mobile on stream. The player is using a phone with Dimensity 8050, which is ranked 17 on AnTuTu’s mobile processors benchmark. Now, this is a good processor, and a player should be able to play a mobile game, no matter how demanding it is, on a device boasting this hardware.

The streamer has put his phone on a platform, face down, so that he can show you how it burns when he’s playing Warzone Mobile. He’s using a controller and has shared his mobile device’s screen on a monitor. After a while, the phone gets to a point where it starts overheating, and that’s where he rubs egg liquid on his device’s back.

It only takes a little until we realize that the egg is actually getting cooked! This is some next-level gaming right there, taking advantage of the phone’s heating while playing an unoptimized game, and making some dinner to boot!

Regardless of the fact that Warzone Mobile is in a very bad condition for playing on Android devices, this video proves that the 2.9 rating on the Google Play Store ain’t there for nothing. Some mobile users can’t even install the game, and if they do, their phones will glow so hot, they can theoretically cook an omelette.

So if you’re an Android user playing Warzone Mobile on mid-range or even some high-end devices, if you sense an abnormal overheating of your device, then just stop. Mobile devices’ batteries are so vulnerable to heating, and if your device burns like hell when playing this game, there’s a slight chance of explosion danger. Also, be warned: cooking an egg on the phone isn’t a safe thing to try; even if it’s pretty fun to do!

Call of Duty: Warzone Mobile is currently available to play on mobile devices.

Amir is an absolute Call of Duty nerd, preferring shooter games more than everything. However, he does like to do uppercuts in Mortal Kombat and feel the NOS going through the engines in Need For Speed games.
