The Call of Duty: Warzone patch notes for Season 1 Reloaded have arrived, but there is some bad news for some of the MTZ lovers. This balancing update has been released recently, and another following patch will be released on January 17th to round up the Season 1 Reloaded meta. During the season, however, the developers might decide to buff or nerf a broken attachment or weapon like the Jak Beholder conversion kit for the Tyr pistol.
Warzone Season 1 Reloaded Patch Notes: All Nerfs and Buffs
MTZ Interceptor (Nerfed):
- Max damage reduced to 85 from 95
- Min damage reduced to 78 from 84
Snakeshot ammunition attachment:
- Damage per pallet at max range reduced to 12 from 34
This is the only change in the current Season 1 meta with January 11th Warzone patch notes. Most fans were expecting a huge nerf on Lockwood 680, but the Interceptor has got a double nerf, giving the crown of the best Marksman Rifle to the KVD Enforcer for now. So, is MTZ Interceptor useless now? Not a chance. The MTZ Marksman Rifle still packs a heavy punch to deliver the same 4-shot take-downs in Warzone.
And for the second nerf of the Warzone Season 1 patch notes, we have the Snakeshot ammunition type. This attachment is only useable by Tyr and Basilisk pistols, which were both nerfed many times before this update. This time, however, they have nerfed the damage range on this thing, only to prevent players from getting easy kills from 30 meters, using the Akimbo on Tyr or the Basilisk.
Gameplay Changes and Bug Fixes
- Fixed an issue allowing players to duplicate items in their backpack menu. This includes Masks, Loadout Drop Markers, and different Field Upgrades.
- More collision issues on the Urzikestan map have now been fixed.
- An issue with showing the Dead Silent icon on killcams has now been fixed.
- Fixed an issue that allowed players to exploit the cash deposit balloon in Plunder.
- Players getting stuck in the Gulag issues are now fixed.
- Fixed an issue causing the after-action report to end abruptly.
- Some issues of not showcasing the attachments on certain weapons are now fixed.
- The dual Kamas unlocking challenge bug is fixed.
- Fixed an issue that kicked players out of the Gunsmith to the main menu for no reason.
Many of the bugs in the Urzikestan map are currently fixed, but there are more to be patched. For example, according to the Warzone Season 1 Reloaded update patch notes, players can not duplicate items anymore. However, the Gas Mask duplication method while running is still very much on the table. Although the other duplication tricks won’t work, the one with the Gas Mask is still active and might get fixed with the January 17th update.
Call of Duty: Warzone is now available to play on PS5, PS4, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC.
