Airbnb is a quick and easy way to plan where to stay for any kind of trip or vacation. However, what happens when that residence turns into a house of horrors? Well that’s exactly what this Washington woman would experience, while attempting to celebrate a birthday. In a TikTok video posted to the account @Trh614, viewers get to see this group of women’s terrifying “Haunted Airbnb” discovery. The video already has over 29,000 views and 600 likes as it continues to strive for viral status.
In a Story time TikTok, the woman would go through the events of the situation she had found herself in. However, posted to the same account are multiple shorter videos, showing the inside of the Airbnb. On top of showing what the house actually looked like, it would also show the infamous hidden room, as well as many other details. The Washington woman would then begin to explain what truly went down those nights.
The video starts with the woman explaining that she and a group of friends were planning on attending a birthday party together. She then states that they all decided to rent an Airbnb and split the costs. However, the woman would also mention that the home gave her a strange vibe, and was generally “Creepy.” To set the tone a little more, she even states that nobody in the group had cellphone service, and the home was pretty far from the nearest town.
Washington Women Find Creepy Hidden Room in Airbnb
After a few moments of settling in the group of girls then notice a huge hatch on the floor. Although they seem very confused as to what it is, and reasonably so. They then float the idea that it may be the entrance to the home’s “Crawl-space,” but typically those aren’t as big as an entire room’s floor. Finally after “A few drinks,” the women would get brave enough to check it out. When they open the hatch however, it seems to reveal an entire downstairs area of the Airbnb. TikTok viewers can even see a staircase leading down as well as a lightswitch.
The woman would then put the dining room table over the hatch and head to bed. Although on TikTok, the Washington woman claims, “It was scary to sleep,” as two of the women allegedly had very vivid nightmares. This then prompts the woman to check the home’s reviews in the Airbnb app. For the most part, they are positive, until they weren’t that is. One comment claims that the owner lives in the garage behind the home, and even creeps around the property at night.
As the Washington women woke up to leave on their final day, many of them allegedly had nightmares yet again. After everyone in the Airbnb was fully awake, they would go through the house and notice many things moving, and they even heard strange noises during the night. The group would then gather their things and leave right away. It is unclear what was going on in that house those nights, but it certainly sounds terrifying. Hopefully, everyone involved will be able to put it behind them and move on.
