Concerts are supposed to be a place where people can enjoy some music and have a good time. However, that was unfortunately not the case in Washington, where a $uicideboy$ fan was murdered after one of the rap duo’s shows. The $uicideboy$ have only grown in popularity over the years. Their annual North American tour, titled GreyDay, has become almost like a holiday for their fans. The community mourns the loss of the man as fans continue to speak out regarding the situation.
According to Fox13 Seattle, the Washington man was the victim of an aggravated assault that took place after the concert. The $uicideboy$ were performing at White River Amphitheater in Auburn on Wednesday. The man was then taken to Harborview Medical Center, where he would later pass away. Now, detectives are even requesting the help of civilians. Law enforcement has allegedly asked the public to come forward with any information they have regarding this case. The investigation still remains ongoing, as hopefully more updates are to come. Although for now, the hunt is still on for the person responsible for this unnecessary loss of life.
$uicideboy$ Fans Mourn Tragic Loss After Washington Murder
While there is not too much information regarding the man from Washington, this is coming just days after a teenage girl was beaten and left with two black eyes in the mosh pit at a different GreyDay show. TikTok account @G59Spencer has posted one of the many videos on the platform regarding these incidents. Fans of the music duo are outraged and terrified by the behavior on display from their fellow concertgoers. “I’m so scared to go,” wrote one fan regarding GreyDay.
The number of incidents stemming from these shows is alarming, as is the timing of them both. The death of a young man, as well as a teenager getting beaten for trying to enjoy some music, is absolutely heartbreaking. $uicideboy$ members Scrim (Scott Arceneaux Jr.) and Ruby Da Cherry (Aristos Petrou) have yet to make any kind of public response to this horrible situation.
As for the Washington man’s friends, family, and loved ones, hopefully, the person responsible will be brought to justice as swiftly as possible. With the investigation continuing, detectives and $uicideboy$ fans alike are looking for anything that could possibly help track this person down. Being able to see one of your favorite artists live should be a happy experience, and hopefully, it can be again. However, for right now, an entire music community is mourning a tragic loss.
