We all know that the US is not having the greatest of times. Protests are happening everywhere, and people are raising their voices in concern for many of the events occurring nationwide. While some try to do it in a peaceful way, others take things a bit out of hand and try to break into some heavily guarded places. Such is the case of a man who got arrested after climbing the fence of the White House. The surprising thing about it is that this individual managed to make some great progress before Secret Service agents and other officers swarmed him.
As shared by user Parking_Design5846 on the r/washingtondc Subreddit, we can see a man climbing the fence of the White House. Initially, he does so effortlessly. He even managed to climb all the way to the top without anyone stopping him. However, when it seems he’s about to cross over, the Secret Service arrives at the scene to arrest the individual. While one could say the response was quick, there are a few people who think the Service took longer than expected.
Service was so chill about it. They’re like… he’s not getting far let’s just wait for him to drop lol.

It’s unsure what this person’s motives were, but many are thankful the situation didn’t escalate further. Breaking into the White House is a serious crime, and things could’ve gone sideways in a matter of seconds. Many thought that some law enforcement officers would be ready to take the individual down, and it seems they were. Some users with keen eyes noticed how an agent crouched on the roof as if they were aiming at the fence-climber.
If you watch the roof you can actually see a couple people moving around. One guy looks like he lays down or crouches. Look near the flagpole

Whether that person was going to neutralize the man or not is a mystery, but we’re glad it didn’t happen. Still, it seemed all agents on site were ready for the worst. In the end, the Secret Service was able to defuse the situation in a mostly peaceful way.
