Baby Yoda
This article is over 6 years old and may contain outdated information.

I love him, you love him, the whole world loves him. I’m talking about baby Yoda. The little guy has taken the world by storm and is the standout character for most fans when watching The Mandalorian on Disney+.

I’ve already seen more pictures, comments and memes about the little tyke than I have for almost anything else this year. There’s even a range of merchandise available because this is Star Wars we are talking about.

One fan on YouTube has decided to take the phenomenon to the next level. YouTuber MaxeBaumannFilms2013 has made his very own what if video. Namely, what if baby Yoda was to fight Emperor Palpatine instead of actual Yoda.

As you can see from the video below the fan/genius has edited baby Yoda into the fight scene from Star Wars Episode 3: Revenge of the Sith and I am fully on board with it. Take a look at the video for yourselves.

Baby Yoda VS Darth Sidious 2

How about that? Already I feel that scene is now better than the entire prequel trilogy. George Lucas should take note. Not that he counts for anything to do with the franchise anymore.

Having The Mandalorian show up at the end to save baby Yoda from the same fate as Yoda was a nice little surprise. I’m still upset at his defeat in Episode 3.

With The Mandalorian in full swing on Disney+ fans should still get to see plenty more of baby Yoda and hopefully find out a bit more about his lineage.

We might have to wait for season 2 to find out more answers. Afterall, Rian Johnson recently let slip that fans should expect to see baby Yoda in the second season.

Did you enjoy that video? Let us know in the comments and give us your thoughts on The Mandalorian in general.
