Ubisoft is about to launch the second big DLC for Watch Dogs 2 on PlayStation 4. Sorry,
According to the patch notes, update 1.11 “introduces several free content updates, tweaks to online gameplay, improvements, and bug fixes”. Some of the new content and features include new locations added to the world map; new dance moves (we all know how Marcus loves to get down); two new emotes Mocking and Laughing; new clothing, club rewards, and “without spoiling all of the fun in the patch notes, we’ll just say that if you’ve finished the story you should replay the last mission to watch a little extra something at the end.” It’s a big update that will not only keep the online community seamless and on the same page, but it will also prepare the world of Watch Dogs 2 for the new expansion.
The second DLC Human Conditions includes three new DedSec story missions called Bad Medicine, Automata, and Caustic Progress. In these missions, players will see fresh story arcs and discover new elite co-op challenges. There will also be new enemies to confront with an enhanced tech called The Jammer.
In Bad Medicine, Marcus teams up with a hitman in order to take down a common enemy holding the city’s hospitals for ransom. Automata have Marcus going against the internet company Nudle (basically Watch Dog 2′ s Google), and its new biometric self-driving cars.
Ubisoft’s Mikel Reparaz says that the events of Bad Medicine are not “dependent on the single-player campaign.” However, if you’re still making your way through the game for the first time, Bad Medicine won’t be available until Hacker Wars, Eye For an Eye, and W4tched have been finished. In Caustic Progress, DedSec is trying to find ways to fight the nanotech plaguing the homeless community of San Francisco.
Ubisoft recently admitted that although Watch Dogs 2 did not hit anticipated sale numbers at launch, those numbers have been rising since the game’s release. It is easy to see why, as the world of San Francisco is dynamic and vibrant with story missions that have immense replay value. The latest DLC expands on this world and contains more than five hours of new content and gameplay.
“Human Conditions” is available today for PS4 users. The DLC will come to PC and
