Ubisoft Forward happens on Sunday, and with it brings a lot of great news about Ubisoft’s array of titles. There’ll be news about projects like Assassin’s Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion, plus news regarding the recently announced HyperScape. On top of this, there will be more news regarding unknown Ubisoft projects. It’s worth tuning into but as we know today, the news isn’t the only thing we’re getting. In a news post detailing everything you need to know about Ubisoft Forward, the team announced that Watch Dogs 2 is going to be free during the event. This is insane amounts of value, given how much fun you can get out of the game.

Watch Dogs 2

Watch Dogs 2 represents some of the best that stealth hacking games have to offer. You have an expansive world with many locations and a story that makes you care about your fellow hacktivists. Follow the story of Marcus as he looks to take on the city-wide network known as ctOS 2.0 and expose the corruption behind it. Using your hacking tools and wits, hack the city around you and help your friends as you raise DeadSec to stardom. If you don’t already have it, Watch Dogs 2 is available on PC, PS4, and Xbox One.

With the free promotion, this is going to open up a lot more people to play Watch Dogs 2. It was one of my favorite games from 2016 but flew under the radar due to the mediocre reception of the first game and several other big titles. If you didn’t check it out at the time, I recommend you check it out now. To claim your copy, log in to Uplay anytime between the Trackmania showcase and the end of the main show. From there, you should have a free copy of Watch Dogs 2 in your library.
