It’s nearly upon us, ladies and gentlemen. The third installment in the Watch Dogs franchise, Watch Dogs Legion, is arriving later this month on PC, PS4, Xbox One, and Google Stadia. It’ll also release on next-gen consoles later in November. I’ve missed the series, especially after a strong entry with Watch Dogs 2 back in 2016. Before we get the game in our hands though, Ubisoft is giving us a taste of what to expect after the game launches. They also showed off a new story trailer, showcasing what to expect from the single-player adventures this time around. You can find that below.

Following the launch of Watch Dogs Legion, Ubisoft is introducing an online co-op feature similar to the previous game. You’ll be able to join up to three friends to adventure around futuristic London and cause mayhem however you see fit. You can all participate in not only side activities, but missions exclusive to the co-op mode as well. You’ll recruit the perfect team of two-to-four agents and go on missions that utilize new mechanics. There’ll also be Tactical Ops missions, designed with four players and communication in mind. Only the best teams will conquer these missions, so be sure to have a good group of friends behind you. Another first for Watch Dogs Legion is a PvP mode, having four to eight-players battling with spider bots.

Joining the co-op content is a whole host of story-based content for Watch Dogs Legion. In 2021, you’ll see the introduction of new characters, abilities, missions, and a New Game Plus for those who like a challenge. You’ll also see the release of the first expansion for the game, Watch Dogs Legion – Bloodline. This includes Aiden Pearce, the protagonist from Watch Dogs 1 along with Wrench from Watch Dogs 2. They aren’t the only playable characters coming with the expansion though, as two more were unveiled today alongside Wrench. On one end is Mina, a subject of experiments who can mind control units on the battlefield. The other is Darcy, a modern member of the Assassin Order, thanks to a crossover with Assassin’s Creed.

There’s a lot of content to expect following the release of Watch Dogs Legion, including a Season Pass that brings the Bloodline expansion, Watch Dogs 1, and more with it! If that sounds exciting to you, you can get it with the Gold, Ultimate, and Collector editions of Watch Dogs Legion. Will you be purchasing the game or its premium editions? Excited to see the return of Aiden Pearce and Wrench? Tell me your thoughts in the comments below!
