Also, in these games, mysterious Black Stakes are scattered throughout the world. Most players wonder what these strange objects are and how they affect their game.

What are the Ominous Black Stakes in Pokemon Scarlet And Violet?

Ominous Black Stakes are collectibles to open the Legendary Shrines in the pokemon Scarlet Violet. Also, there are four legendary Shrines in the game. Each Shrine obtains one legendary pokemon. To unlock each Shrine, you must collect Eight Ominous Black Stakes scattered around the Shrine. Therefore to unlock four Shrines, you must collect 32 Ominous Black Stakes.

The shrines are in Four colors yellow, purple, green, and Blue. The yellow Shrine( Icerend Shrine) obtains Chein-Pao, and you will find this Shrine in the South of the Asado Desert along the West Paldea Coast. The Purple Shrine (Grasswither Shrine) obtains Wo-Chein, located North of Casseroya Lake. Green Shrine ( Groundblight Shrine) is located east of the  Poco Path Lighthouse along the South Paldea Coast and obtains Ting Lu. Finally, the Blue Shrine ( Firescourge Shrine) obtains the Chi-Yu, located at Area Two of the North Province on the peak of Fury Falls.

The legendary Pokemon in these Shrines is a powerful pokemon that any trainer will want to get their hands on. They are unique, powerful Pokemon which has never been seen before in the Pokemon franchise.

As mentioned, Ominous Black Stakes related to each legendary Shrine are scattered around in the same area. The Ominous Black Stakes in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are unique items that players must collect to unlock the four legendary Shrines and obtain the powerful legendary pokemon. Knowing the locations of each Ominous Black Stake will help players quickly find them and unlock the Shrines.
