A Train is Passing Through Stardew Valley – Explained
When the “A Train is Passing Through Stardew Valley” notification appears, it means something is happening on the railroad track. The railroad is located north of the Spa. If you go up from Robin’s shop you will see the road to the Spa. If you get there before it’s too late, you’ll see a train pass quickly through the town. This is a rare occasion so you won’t see the train often. There’s only one reason the train goes through Pelican Town.
The train drops a few resources as it passes through Pelican Town, but only if you’re next to it. If you get there after the train has passed, the resources will be gone. This usually happens between 9 am and 6 pm. The train will drop off some valuable resources if you’re present when it arrives. Here are all the items the train drops:
- Coal
- Stone
- Magma Geode
- Leprechaun Shoes
You can not board the train and standing in front of it will damage you. That means you can’t visit the Witch’s Hut when the train is passing.
