This article is over 1 years old and may contain outdated information.

Regardless of the name, Arachnophobia Mode in Lethal Company technically does have a spider. However, don’t be alarmed about that since the definition of arachnophobia is quite literally the fear of spiders. Developer Zeekerss does a great job of making the game inclusive for all sorts of players, especially those with a fear of spiders in Lethal Company. Let’s dive into what Arachnophobia Mode does in Lethal Company, and you can go about activating it.

Are There Spiders in Arachnophobia Mode?

As we explained, there ARE spiders in Arachnophobia Mode in Lethal Company. However, the mode changes all the spider enemies to a 3D model of the word “Spider.” When you kill the spider, the word turns upside down to let you know.

The alphabet version of the enemy is still just as dangerous but less menacing to look at. Even though Lethal Company is a horror game, making it completely unplayable for some players was out of the question. In some cases, the Arachnophobia mode in a game either makes the creatures less menacing or removes them altogether.

How To Turn on Arachnophobia Mode

To turn on Arachnophobia mode, head to the start menu while in-game. There is quite literally a toggle for Arachnophobia Mode at the bottom-right of the screen. It is listed below the Accessibility features, albeit it is the only feature in that category you can choose.

You can toggle it on or off at any point while you’re playing. Just make sure that you confirm your changes before moving on. At the bottom-left of this same screen, you’ll see whether or not the changes have been confirmed for the next time you go against a spider.
