Mark Cuban voiced support for Texas Democratic Senate candidate James Talarico on the Pivot podcast, calling him honest and trustworthy while urging Texans to reconsider years of voting Republican. A clip of the comments has circulated widely on X. Online users have reacted with mixed responses, with many pushing back on Cuban’s critique by pointing to Texas’s substantial population and economic growth.

In the video, Mark Cuban says, “James Talarico. Let’s go. I’m a big fan. He’s honest, trustworthy, and he cares. He’ll do the right thing as opposed to the politically expedient thing.” 

He continues, “To Texans, do what’s best for Texas. You’ve been voting for Republicans all these years; what have they done for you?” The question quickly became the focal point of the backlash, with critics pointing to Texas’s continued growth as evidence that they believe Republican leadership has benefited the state.

Cuban’s Challenge to Texas Voters Draws Online Fire
