Fortnite fans are in for an exciting treat with the Web Battles event, a remarkable collaboration with the upcoming Spider-Man: Across the Spider-Verse movie. This limited-time event allows players to immerse themselves in the Spider-Man universe and compete for exclusive rewards based on their favorite web-slinging hero. And the Day 4 challenge of the Web Battles event wants to deal critical damage to opponents and Fortnite gives 1 point per 100 critical damage. Now, Fortnite players are wondering what critical damage is and how to deal.
How to Deal Critical Damage in Fortnite
(Updated on October 2, 2024 – updated links and format)
Players can swing into action from May 18 to May 22 by signing up for the Web Battles event. Simply log in to your Epic Games account on the Fortnite Web Battles site to join the fun. Once you’re registered, it’s time to choose your allegiance between two legendary Spider-Man variants: Team Miles or Team 2099.
Epic Games didn’t clarify how critical damage is determined. Reddit users are guessing headshot aim since headshots generally deal more damage than body shots. Take your time to aim at your opponent’s head to maximize your damage output. Also, certain weapons in Fortnite have special perks that can increase your critical damage potential. Dealing with critical damage relies on accuracy, positioning, and weapon choice.
Here are the all event challenges:
- Eliminate opponents (one point each)
- Deal damage to opponents (one point for every 100 damage)
- Restore your shield (one point for every 100 shields)
- Deal critical damage to opponents (one point for every 100 critical damage/headshots)
- Survive Storm Circles
