Throughout the years, we’ve seen the Z Fighters use Shenron as a front desk customer service employee. From asking him to revive people more than once to even Bulma trying to become five years younger, Shenron’s work is never over. This time, players can also put the almighty dragon to work if they find the coveted legendary artifacts. If you didn’t know, you can summon different versions of Shenron to ask for specific wishes in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO. However, with so many alluring options, which one is the best?
How To Obtain Dragon Balls
Before we delve into the best Shenron wish in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, knowing how to obtain the artifacts required to summon our wish maker is crucial. As you may or may not know, there are three types of summons you can do in the game, and they all depend on the type of Dragon Balls you obtain.
- Summon Shenron: You can ask only one wish and pick between Zeni, raise your Power (Character) Level, unlock titles, get new outfits, or complete an Episode Battle. You obtain them through challenges.
- Summon Porunga: You can choose three wishes in one go, including asking for Zeni, ability items, and more titles. These Dragon Balls appear as random rewards in Player versus CPU battles. This is the only way we’ve seen them appear, but we’ll update the guide further if we discover another way.
- Summon Super Shenron: You can get one wish and ask for characters, Zeni, raise your Power (Character) Level, or obtain outfits. Obtainable as part of the Ultimate Edition and by finishing certain episodes in the Story Mode.
Wish Priority
Since some Shenron wishes take a while to get in Dragon Ball: Sparking! ZERO, we have a few recommendations on what to ask first. However, keep in mind that all of the things that you can obtain through wishes can also be unlocked by playing the game normally. For instance, the characters behind wishes can be purchased through the shop once you get to character level 20. Still, we recommend going for these ones in this order:
- Characters: If you want Goku Black or Fused Zamasu, regardless of your level, wish for them. They are great characters).
- Raise My Power Level: This is useful if you don’t play too often and want to unlock things in the shop that usually require leveling up your account first.
- Zeni: While you get plenty during the story, it doesn’t come in large quantities, so a bit of Zeni in the early game doesn’t hurt, especially if you’re looking to buy a lot from the shop. Shenron and Porunga give 300,000, and Super Shenron gives 1,000,000.
Ultimately, the choice is yours. While we recommend following the above order, you can pick whatever you feel will give you an edge in the game. Fortunately, you can obtain everything just by playing casually, so don’t stress too much when looking at what you want to ask for.
