Not to mention, it’s one of the few anime games that completely ditches character gacha pulls in favor of unlockable characters. But its absence from Steam at launch has left many curious. Here’s everything we know about Duet Night Abyss‘ Steam release plans and how to play it on PC right now.
Is Duet Night Abyss on Steam?
No — for now, the PC version of Duet Night Abyss is not available on Steam, but you can grab it through the Epic Games Store. Nevertheless, the Steam Store page is already live, allowing you to stay up-to-date on any announcements and updates.
At the moment, there’s no word on when it will be playable on Valve’s platform. As confirmed by the official message shared by the game’s official Discord: “The Steam version will not be available on Day 1. Please stay tuned for the latest updates.”

In case you prefer playing with a gamepad, Hero Games lists the officially supported controllers as follows:
- Xbox and Xbox Elite controllers.
- DualSense and DualSense Edge.

Unfortunately, based on our testing, third-party sticks like the Hori gamepad don’t work natively. Even adding the EM.exe game file to Steam won’t trigger Steam Input support. You might need a remapping tool to make them work properly.
To recap, while there’s no confirmed timeline, a Steam version of Duet Night Abyss should be released later on. Until then, you just have to stick with Epic or Android emulators and keep an eye on future updates from Hero Games.
