Apex Legends players have been eager to know when the popular Control limited-time mode (LTM) will return to the game. Control was first introduced in Season 12 and proved to be one of the most popular LTMs, but it was only available for a short period before being removed.
Apex Legends’ Control LTM
Apex Legends is set to bring back its Control limited-time mode (LTM) on January 10 as part of the Spellbound Collection Event. In Control, teams of nine players face off in a respawn-friendly, point-capture mode, with set loadouts and the ability to switch between Apex on the fly. The mode will be available on three maps based on POIs from larger Apex Legends maps: Storm Point’s Barometer, World’s Edge’s Lava Siphon, and Olympus’ Hammond Labs.
Control was a fan-favorite mode when it was first introduced, and its return is sure to be welcomed by Apex Legends players. However, it’s worth noting that the LTM will only be available until January 24, so players must make the most of the two weeks it is life. In addition to Control, the Spellbound Collection Event will introduce Seer’s Heirloom, new cosmetics, and private matches.
