In just a little less than a week, we will finally see PSVR2 pre-orders being shipped out, and people who want to purchase one can buy one directly from Sony on February 22nd if they choose not to pre-order. The first PSVR was released seven years ago, and now, with VR having come so far, this will be an exciting experience. However, some of you might be wondering, if the headset releases on February 22nd, when will your PSVR2s be Delivered?
When Will PSVR2s Be Shipped and Delivered?
As many people probably remember from the PS5, it can easily sell out from stores and online…however, it seems that the PSVR2 headsets plan to have a lot smoother process of being shipped. The vice president of Sony, Isabelle Tomatis, shared that “orders from direct.playstation.come for the PlayStation VR2 headsets and bundles will ship throughout the week of launch.”
Obviously, this will depend on your location, but your shipment is expected to arrive anywhere between February 22nd and the 28th. The safest bet for not getting your hopes up and being disappointed would be to expect it on the 28th, but hopefully, it will come a lot sooner.
In the meantime, you will want to turn on your PS5 and purchase one or two of the VR games so you can go ahead and have it ready. Pre-downloading of the Sony PSVR2 games started just yesterday, the 15th. So instead of having to wait hours or possibly days to play the headset and games, you can go ahead and be prepared for its launch. Please keep in mind that you will need a PS5 in order to even use the PSVR2. There is a very nice selection of games for the VR headset already, so we definitely recommend taking a look while you wait for your headset.
