Bethesda knows how to make games with vast open worlds. Starfield is much bigger than anything they’ve done before. Therefore, players can explore the vastness of space with dozens of different systems of planets and moons. Some of them are colorful and contain various flora, fauna, resources, NPCs, while others are barren. However, there are some planets that you will visit more often because they have huge cities with quests and vendors. One of the first places you can visit is called Akila City. So, read on to find out where Akila City is located in Starfield.

As we said, Starfield has a very huge open world. Therefore, to get to some planets, you have to upgrade your ship. Luckily, Akila City is quite close to Alpha Centauri, the system where your adventure will begin. Moreover, you have to visit this city during the story quest called The Empty Nest.

So, to find Akila City in Starfield, you need to go to the Cheyenne System. It’s located northeast of Alpha Centauri, so you can get to it fast. This system has 9 planets, and the planet you need, Akila, is quite close to the sun. Finally, choose Akila City as your landing point to enter the world of the space Wild West.

What To Do in Akila City?

Akila City is one of the largest cities in Starfield, so you will find many main and side quests in it. In addition, if there is a bounty on your head, you can cancel it at the Self-Service Bounty Removal Kiosk in the city. And below, you will find the rest of the points of interest:

  • Chunks (Shop)
  • TerraBrew Coffee (Shop)
  • Rowland Arms (Shop)
  • Laredo Firearms (Shop)
  • Shepherd’s General Store (Shop)
  • Midtown Minerals (Shop)
  • Aggie’s (Shop)
  • The Hitching Post (Shop)

We recommend that you explore the entire city, as you can find a lot of useful things, including loot that you can steal without being noticed. Also, be sure to find Rosie Tannehill and Omari Hassan, as they can join your crew.

That’s all you need to know about how to find the Akila City location in Starfield. This Western-style city can provide you with various resources, so you have to visit it whenever you need to buy something. In the meantime, please take a look at our guide onย how to complete Deep Cover.
