Want to know where to catch Stonjourner in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet? Pokemon Scarlet and Violet world is filled with hundreds of Pokemon you can hunt down and catch, but getting them all is not easy. Some Pokémon are exclusive to one game version, and Stonjourner is one of them. To find it in the wild, you must own a Pokemon Scarlet, in which case you will have no problem catching it. However, you still have to search, and our guide will help you with this and tell you where to catch Stonjourner in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet.

(Updated on August 22, 2024 – Updated links).

Where to Catch Stonjourner in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet

Even though Stonjourner is exclusive, this Pokemon is relatively easy to find. To catch Stonjourner in Pokemon Scarlet and Violet, you must go to Asado Desert in the western part of the game world. In addition, you should raise the level to 25-30. You won’t encounter Stonjourner earlier in the game, so make sure you complete this requirement before you go looking.

It is worth noting that there is no exact place and time for the Stonjourner to spawn, so you will probably have to walk around the desert for quite some time. However, you can slightly increase the spawn chance of this Pokémon by using the new Sandwich mechanic. Different sandwiches attract different Pokemon, and in the case of Stonjourner, you should make a Sandwich with a level 2 encounter power for Rock-type Pokemon. To do this, you should use the following ingredients:

  • Bacon
  • Lettuce
  • Tomato
  • Basil
  • Cheese
  • Mayonnaise
  • Mustard

Once you meet Stonjourner, the catching and fighting process is no different than any other Pokémon. However, you can simplify and speed up the battle using Pokemon with definite movements. As a Rock-type Pokémon, Stonjourner is weak against Fighting, Ground, Steel, Water, and Grass-type moves and takes 2x damage from these.

If you’re a Pokemon Violet player, getting Stonjourner is harder, but it is still possible. To do this, you must use the Link Code feature. During online trade, you must use the code 0319-0320 and exchange your Eiscue for Stonjourner. Therefore, first of all, take care of catching Eiscue.
