Where To Farm Oxium in Warframe Fast & Easy (2024)

Relatively fast and easy, of course

Oxium has always been a constant pain to farm because you don’t exactly “focus” farm for it in the same way as other resources or currencies in Warframe. It’s a resource you’re supposed to accumulate over time. Still, if you want the most efficient way to farm Oxium in Warframe, I have some tips for you so you can get to designing, crafting, or feeding Helminth without much worry.

Any Corpus node will work, as long as you’re actually fighting Corpus enemies (not Infested Corpus). You need Oxium Osprey enemies to spawn as they’re the only ones that drop Oxium.

However, a certain location, such as Io, Jupiter is less stressful to farm because it’s a Defense mission and it spawns Oxium Ospreys every defense round. Moreover, the enemies and the “Oxium” come to you since it’s a Defense mission. No need to seek them out.

You can also try out Mobile Defense since the farming principle is the same. Just let the enemies come to you. Other endless mission types, such as Survival or Extraction, also work well here for Oxium farming. If you’re farming publicly, then Jupiter will likely be the most populated spot.

If you want a near-endless farm (that may or may not work 100 percent of the time), then try a Disruption mission on Jupiter and then stall the mission on Wave 4 to Wave 6 for a constant spawn rate of Oxium Ospreys. By ‘stall’, that means you don’t need to insert the colored keys. It’s better to do this solo.

Furthermore, you can boost your chances of acquiring Oxium by double or triple if you follow these tips below. Some of them require certain Warframes, by the way.

  • Bring Nekros and use his Desecrate (3rd ability) on Oxium Osprey ‘corpses’ to make them drop more Oxium.
  • Perform the farming run on Steel Path difficulty to double the drop chance and enemy density. You will need a tough Warframe for this, but a well-built Nekros can handle it.
  • If you don’t have a Nekros, try a Warframe with nuking capabilities such as Volt, Saryn, Dante, Ember, Mesa, or Gauss to kill Oxium Ospreys faster and more reliably. Bear in mind that having too much Ability range might make you miss some Oxium drops if the enemy is too far away.
  • You can also bring Khora (with a Pilfer augment mod) or a Smeeta Kavat to increase the chances of looting Oxium.
  • Last but not least, the Resource Drop Chance Booster will shorten your grind.
