As players explore the vast world in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, they will find many different resources. Some are needed for cooking dishes with various buffs, while others will be useful to you for crafting gear and weapons. However, due to the size of the map in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora, some resources can be quite hard to find, such as Canopy Root. But since it is needed to craft the Heavy Bow, you will have to get it sooner or later, especially if you want to fight RDA soldiers more effectively.

Canopy Root may appear to be part of the tree root system in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. However, in reality, it is a parasitic plant that grows on different trees. It makes them easier to gather and use for crafting. At the same time, due to their similarity to other roots, they are very easy to miss when exploring forests.

So, to find Canopy Root in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora you need to go to the Wild Vines biome in the Kinglor Forest. There, you will find quite a lot of these Roots. However, if you want to find rarer versions of Canopy Root then you should look to the north of the Kinglor Forest. More Canopy Roots are growing in the woods west of the Tangled Lake in Avatar: Frontiers of Pandora. In addition, their rarity is much higher, especially during the daytime.

How To Gather Canopy Roots

Now that you know where this plant grows, all you have to do is come and gather it. However, visually Canopy Root is still fairly unnoticeable. Therefore, you should use the Na’vi abilities to make the search easier.

To do this, open Hunter’s Guide and select Canopy Root there. Thus, when you use the Na’vi vision, the resource will be highlighted in yellow. After this, you will be one step closer to the Heavy Bow, which is undoubtedly an excellent weapon.
