True enough to its name, the Gulper in Fallout 76 will have you gulping in anxiety, especially after the Fallout TV show got a little too detailed with its portrayal. This mutant salamander with touchy-feely fingers inside its mouth is now more popular than ever. If you’re looking to roleplay, cosplay, or relive that Gulper horror in the show, here’s where to find Gulpers in Fallout 76. Don’t forget to bring a naive Vault Dweller newbie with you so they can act as bait.
Gulper Location in Fallout 76
The most reliable place where you can find Gulpers on-demand would be none other than Gulper Lagoon in Appalachia. If you go there for the first time or revisit after few minutes, you’ll usually find four Gulpers basking in the irradiated water.
Gulper Lagoon is due Northeast of the map, near the Crevasse dam to the East. You can also just refer to the image above so you don’t get lost. The four Gulpers in that location will respawn after 10 minutes, assuming you killed them all.
Other Gulper Locations
If you can’t wait 10 minutes and really need to kill as many Gulpers as you can, you can try to visit other Gulpers’ spawning points. However, take note that these locations are either not guaranteed or there are only just a few of them in the area.
- Two are present in Dyer Chemical, by the river, south of Gulper Lagoon.
- They also have a chance to spawn at Treetops just south of the aforementioned river.
Beyond that, the spawn chances from other locations are low. You can keep searching around for Gulpers all over the long river in the East of the map. However, I can’t guaranteed that it will be a consistent Gulper farm compared to Gulper Lagoon or Dyer Chemical.
You can Also Join Gulper Events
Thankfully, the game will throw you a bone from time to time with random public events. These public events or events are typically centered around certain enemy types and three of them will have you murdering hordes of Gulpers.
Those three events for hunting Gulpers are currently:
- Moonshine Jamboree (guaranteed Gulper)
- Project Paradise
- Spin the Wheel
Moonshine Jamboree is what you really want here as the other two, Project Paradise and Spin the Wheel have a random chance to include Gulpers in the events.
Fallout 76 is available now for PC, PS4, and Xbox One.
