How to Get Horsetail in Sons of the Forest
To find Horsetail in Sons of the Forest, you must travel to the western part of the island and explore the grassy area next to the waters. Although Horsetail is in small numbers throughout the island, the central-west and southwest parts of the map have the best climate for this plant. Therefore, we recommend walking along the rivers and looking for Horsetail at a distance of 5-20 meters from water bodies.
Horsetail stems are thin and blend in with their surroundings. But the small green villi sticking out of the stalk in all directions are relatively noticeable. However, find a couple of these representatives of the local flora yourself, after which you can quickly notice it from afar.
By collecting Horsetail, you will also get seeds with some chance, which is good news. Your inventory can hold a maximum of 10 Horsetails, but if you plant seeds in a pot in your base, you will always have access to fresh plants. In addition, Horsetail will respawn after a couple of days, and you can collect more. But be careful, as the pots are relatively fragile and can break after any attack on your base.
