Dave the Diver is a recent early access success taking Steam by storm. This restaurant sim was released recently into early access and seems to have found its audience already. A big part of running this restaurant is to find ingredients with equipment like Bug Net that Dave has to dive into the water to get. You will also need other workers like Itsuki to help you run the restaurant. But, you get side quests every now and then, like helping whales or dolphins. So here is where you can find the Baby Whale in Dave the Diver.

The first thing you should remember in order to find the Baby Whale in Dave the Diver is to go diving during the day since the whale does not appear at night. It seems she will only appear in Chapter 3 and you can easily locate her by listening to the noises she makes. Once you record and send her voice to Ellie, she will translate it and tell you that this whale is trying to find her lost baby.

To find this little whale, you have to go to depths of 70 meters at the left side of the screen. You will eventually pick up the crying of the baby whale as they appear in white sound waves in the sea. Eventually, you will come across a cave that is blocked. To go through the cave, you have to upgrade your gloves by seeing Dr. Bacon. Once you upgraded the gloves, you can move the obstacle and go inside the cave.

After you get inside, you have to gain the trust of the baby whale. To do this, use Spacebar on your keyboard to pet it several times, and eventually, the little whale trust you. Then it will follow you and you can lead it outside the cave to its mother. Although you will face some lionfish and sharks to deal with, which will make the baby whale go into hiding. Once you’ve dealt with them, the little whale will start following you again.
