Whatโs a medieval RPG without a brothel? And in Dragonโs Dogma 2, it isnโt there just to get you to snicker; it does serve a function. It offers pretty useful buffs, as long as youโre willing to pay the price (and itโs a steep one). Ran by the lovely Wilhelmina, the Rose Chateau is only accessible to those carrying a Myrmecolean Card. So, if youโd like to roll around in the hay with her courtesans in Dragonโs Dogma 2, youโll need permission to enter the brothel first.
How to Find the Brothel in Dragonโs Dogma 2
Youโd think the Rose Chateau would be found in a seedy part of Vernworth, but it’s actually located in the Noble Quarter. As it turns out, the Rose Chateau isnโt your typical rinky-dink brothel, but a high-quality establishment, and considering the prices, itโs no surprise only the rich can afford it.

Now, if you hardly touch the main story in Dragonโs Dogma 2, the Rose Chateau will be inaccessible to you unless you have the Myrmecolean Card. Luckily, you get the card really early on, during the main quest The Stolen Throne โ one of several quests Captain Brant gives you to unravel the mystery of the fake Arisen.
The Rose Chateau is split into three floors, with the first two floors accessible to those with the Myrmecolean Card. Itโll cost you 20,000 gold for their services. However, the courtesans on the third floor cost 30,000 gold and only accept those with the Platinum Myrmecolean Card, which you can purchase for 48,000 gold after youโve used their services enough.
What the Brothel Does in DD2, Explained

If you were hoping for a spicy scene like those in Baldurโs Gate 3, you wonโt find it here. Itโs a quick scene of your character and the courtesan sitting at the edge, then it cuts to black. However, the next morning you gain three buffs:
- Strength Boost: Youโll deal more physical damage.
- Defense Boost: Take less damage.
- Recovery Boost: Your loss gauge will increase at a slower pace.
If you have access to the top floor, youโll get two additional buffs to your stamina and magick. You can gain similar buffs from eating at a campsite in DD2, so it doesnโt seem all that worth it. And the buffs last just as long โ an entire day.
