Forspoken: Where to Find the Curiosity Shop

There aren’t a whole lot of places where you can actually spend Old Coins within the game. To begin with, your only option will be to spend them in the bookshop that can be found in Cipal. At the bookstore, you can buy yourself books that give you the option to apply upgrades to your hear at crafting stations. This is a great option for upgrading your items, but it’s not quite what Frey is used to from when she lived in New York City. In order to get the same feel, you’ll need to get to the Curiosity Shop.

It’ll be a while before you can get to the Curiosity Shop, unfortunately, as it shows up toward the end of the game once you’re about to get your final set of spells that belong to Olas. After you get to Visoria, head South of the Visoria Castle Town and head to the area that is labeled “Inner Visoria” on the map. If you look around this area, up in the mountains, you will be able to see a symbol that looks like two arrows. This is where the Curiosity Shop is in Forspoken.

When you finally arrive at the Curiosity Shop, you’ll be surprised to find that the shop’s owner isn’t a human, but rather an infected citizens ho still holds the ability to speak. Below are a list of items you can purchase after speaking to him:

  • Gravity Lantern
    • Can be purchased for 16 Old Coins
  • Comfy Pillow
    • Can be purchased for 16 Old Coins
  • Crafting Pot
    • Can be purchased for 24 Old Coins
  • Compass
    • Can be purchased for 48 Old Coins
  • Sewing Kit
    • Can be purchased for 64 Old Coins

This is everything you need to know about where to find the Curiosity Shop in Forspoken. Be sure to check back for more useful and interesting guides and as always, be safe and have fun.

Jordan is an experienced fantasy writer who spends hours behind her laptop, and lost in the pages of a book. She strives to be a successful gaming blogger, and has no complaint about the hours of game time she used to increase her knowledge of all things “geek”. She primarily writes gaming articles and fantasy novels. Ark: Survival Evolved is a favorite, along with Diablo 3, Warframe and Minecraft lately, though you can’t forget the good old Magic the Gathering card game! Writing about games truly gives her joy as it gives her another perspective to look at games from, a reason to really look into the mechanics of the game.
