Dave the Diver is a game that never stops throwing new mechanics and items at you. This can be daunting at first, but it becomes fun once you get used to everything. You’ll notice that this title has a great gameplay loop that has you diving for ingredients and then using them in the sushi bar you manage. Yet, to unlock some of the biggest mysteries in the game, you’ll need to do some fighting, exploring, and gathering. For the latter, there are several items you’ll need to progress through the Sea People questline. This guide will tell you how to find the microphone and stone tablet in Dave the Diver.

Finding the microphone in Dave the Diver alongside the stone tablet will take some time. You’ll have to progress through the game’s first chapter to face the boss, after which you can find these items. The boss we’re talking about is the Giant Squid, which introduces players to bosses in the game. The fight is straightforward and shouldn’t take long, provided you have the correct items and weapons. After beating the boss, you’ll have to return to the wreck where the fight occurred and grab this item. You’ll need this to progress through the following chapters of the main story in the game.

How to Find the Stone Tablet

To find the stone tablet in Dave the Diver, you must head back to the Records Chamber, which you open with bombs. Once inside, you’ll find the stone tablet, one of the items you need to communicate with the Sea People. If you have all items, you must return to Dr. Bacon to continue the story. We won’t spoil too much, but things get quite interesting once you beat the boss and more features become available.

If you prefer, you can always manage your sushi bar and get money for certain upgrades and items; both will make diving much easier and let you get a bigger haul. But we can’t recommend the story enough, as it has some fantastic moments that any gamer will enjoy. So, don’t forget to grab these items when the time is right and bring them to Dr. Bacon to discover what’s happening in this fantastic new game.
