His great-great-grandparents are Ymir and Audumbla, his great-grandfather is Búri, his grandfather is Borr, and his grandmother is Bestla. His father, Odin, has passed away, and his mother, Hrodr. Tyr had two stepmothers, Fjorgyn and Freya.
Tyr was known throughout the Nine Realms for being an honorable god of war who fought for law and justice. He worked tirelessly to ensure peace reigned supreme wherever he roamed and was referred to by Mimir as “The One Who Fought For Peace.” While Thor jokingly referred to him as the “Preachy Old Stiff,” this general sentiment did not hinder Tyr’s unwavering devotion to aiding those in need.
