Want to know where to get Calm Mind TM in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet? As you progress through Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, you have to go through many battles, and sometimes, the starting power of Pokemon is not enough to win. Therefore, in addition to hunting Pokémon with the best natures, you should improve them. Go to some Hyper Training to increase your Pokemon’s IV, and of course, use TMs to give your Pokemon the best moveset. There are over 170 TMs in the game, and if you’re looking for something for your Psychic-type Pokémon, Calm Mind TM might be the one for you. Our guide is here to help you and tell you where to get Calm Mind TM in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet.

Where To Get Calm Mind TM in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

To get Calm Mind TM in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet, travel to South Province Area Three, west of Mesagoza. In the sunken area, you can find a small lake on the shore, which is where the Pokeball lies. As you may have guessed, picking up this Poké Ball will give you Calm Mind TM, and you can give it to your Psychic-type Pokémon.

It is worth noting that Calm Mind TM is not an attacking TM, but the effect of its use can be helpful at all stages of the passage. If your Pokémon learns this skill, it can use Calm Mind to increase your Special Attack and Special Defense stats by 1. In addition, this effect can stack up to 6 times, so as a result, your Pokémon will receive a good buff. Given the characteristics of Psychic-type Pokemon, this can be useful in the early and late game. Early on, Calm Mind will allow you to use weaker Pokémon without fear of them dying too soon. And in the late game, you can give buffs to your most maxed Pokémon.

If you don’t want to search, some Pokémon can get it automatically. For example, Gallade has this skill permanently, and Armarouge, Stantler, Meditite, and Lucario learn this skill as they level up.

How to Craft Calm MindTM in Pokemon Scarlet & Violet

If you have at least one Pokémon with Calm Mind, you can transfer this skill to another Pokémon using Mirror Herb. However, this method is quite expensive and has several limitations. In addition, it’s much cheaper to use the TM Machine and craft the Calm Mind TM:

  • 3000LP
  • Stantler Hair x3
  • Realee Fur x3

Pokemon Scarlet and Violet are available on Nintendo Switch.
