For over a decade, Call of Duty has been known for a horde mode called Zombies, where you’d face the undead in another world, separate from the story campaign. However, not all the Call of Duty titles bring back the dead soldiers from their graves. Which Was The First Ever Call of Duty Game To Feature Zombies?
Call of Duty: World At War was the first ever Call of Duty game to feature the Zombies mode as a part of its Co-Op experience. At first, you’d had to play through the campaign mode and complete the story to unlock a new level called Nacht Der Untoten. This was the first Zombies map in the Call of Duty franchise.

Which CoD Zombies Is The Best in The Series?
It’s tough to agree on which Call of Duty game featured the best Zombies mode in the series. But if you’ve played all the games, it’s clear. Black Ops 1 had the best experience. WAW remains the best classic form of the mode, and then BO2, BO3, and BO4 introduced many new features and special weapons, making the game much more flashy. With that in mind, Black Ops 1 was between the classics and the chaos regarding gameplay, weapons, perks, and features.
The base three maps were some of the best reintroduced later in the series. Kino Der Toten remains one of the most iconic maps in Call of Duty, and it’s noteworthy when the Moon based DLC was added.
