Whiny Racists Throw a Tantrum By Mass Unfollowing a California TikToker Bashing Blackface Costumes, ‘The amount of literal Nazi costumes I’ve seen this year is insane’

Actions speak louder than words, right? If someone says they’re not racist, but then dresses up as a KKK member, you’d likely question their motives. When a California woman correctly bashed people dressing in Blackface for Halloween, several followers showed their true colors. Apparently, pointing out obvious racism is a touchy subject—if you’re a racist. Rather than use words, they spoke with actions by mass unfollowing the California TikToker, and she honestly couldn’t be happier.

TikToker Cassandra initially posted a video saying she thought it was absurd how “people doing Blackface in 2025” truly is. If they haven’t yet figured out that dressing up and wearing makeup theatrically as a person of another race is racist, then there’s a problem. That’s obvious. But Cassandra argues racists should be made “scared again” by not getting away with their racism. According to her, it’s her “least controversial take” and an obvious one at that, but she’s hitting on a more subtle message at work here. If someone points out obvious racism, and your instinct is to unfollow, the problem isn’t Cassandra.

In an update video, Cassandra announced she lost 200 followers for her opinion. Now, was it because they’re a bunch of racists who agree with Blackface or was it because they don’t like political issues being discussed on TikTok? It didn’t matter either way. Cassandra took this as an opportunity to share her opinions on a bunch of ‘takes’ that would help her “weed” out her bad followers.

Cassandra shares she’s pro-abortion, which Republicans are notoriously against, that pedophiles should be castrated, and she doesn’t like cops. As Cassandra puts it, “If I truly tell you how I feel about some things, I’ll lose my account.”

Though she lost some followers (it appears the trash takes itself out), many agreed with Cassandra and decided to stick around. One commenter pointed out they too, witnessed racism this Halloween. He stated, “The amount of literal Nazi costumes I’ve seen this year is insane.”

Another person said, “People get comfortable with [expletive] they’ve done before and never had any consequences for.” Too true, and it really needs to be confronted and called out as much as possible. It seems people like Cassandra are just doing the normal thing, but apparently some racist TikTokers were offended by being called out.
