A shocking incident unfolded recently in a Safeway store in San Francisco, California when a White woman was caught on camera going off on a racist tirade. Not only did she call the store worker an “uneducated dirty black monkey” but she also called her a “nasty b*tch” in a clip that’s quickly going viral. While she was escorted off the premises by staff, the woman hurled derogatory racist slurs at both members of staff and other customers.
A clip shared by Atlanta Black Star on Instagram shows us that the incident takes place inside of a Safeway store, and sees the irate White woman being walked off the premises by a member of staff. Accompanying the video is the caption, ““Dirty Black Monkey”: White Woman Goes On Racist Tirade After Being Kicked Out of Grocery Store” It’s unclear what sparked the racist tirade, as the buildup is not shown in the footage, though according to the Instagram post, “Witnesses say she hurled slurs and refused to leave until store security escorted her off the premises.”
As she’s being walked out the store, you can hear the security guard calmly say, “You’re not allowed to come back here, okay?” The White woman, who is wearing a creme cardigan, large sunglasses, and a white mask, turns around and confronts the guard, saying, “Who are you to tell me what I’m allowed or not allowed? You’re an uneducated dirty monkey.” To this, the guard simply replies in a non combative way with, “Yeah, I know.”
This does not placate the White woman, as she responds with, “No, you don’t know.” before adding, “You nasty b*tch. Bleach your hair and you think you’re like, what the f*ck?” Coolly, the guard responds, “Okay, good.” The White woman then turns around and begins repeatedly chanting, “Dirty black monkey. Dirty black monkey. You ugly, ugly, dirty, black monkey.” Someone off camera can be heard exclaiming, “Damn.” in shock of what the woman is saying.
As the woman continues to walk away, someone off camera — presumably an employee of the store — can be heard expressing, “She feels better about herself by saying all that. She can’t go in the store. Haha.” But it’s not over. The White woman spins around and continues her racist rant, exclaiming, “Ugly, ugly, r*pist, dirty, delusional pig.” The man replies, “You feel good?“
“No, you’re like delusional sh*t. You want to be included. You delusional nasty gorillas. You want to be included. No one willing would include you anywhere. Just by looking at you. You force people. Nasty black pig.” utters the angry White woman. When she arrives near her yellow vehicle, which notably has a California plate, she yells at another worker off screen and says, “Next nasty Mexican pig?” while the man she’s talking about responds with, “What about it?” She then has the gall to brand him as a “racist, nasty, dirty sh*t.”
The man then declares, “I’m not Mexican. We’re not Mexican.” Ignorantly, the woman shouts back, “You’re Mexican to me. I don’t see difference. You’re ugly.” After a little back and forth, a guard instructs them to “Call the police,” as they believe that she may be “intoxicated“, though the woman does drive away.
Due to the woman’s shocking racist tirade, social media reactions to the clip have been very critical of her rude behavior. One user on Instagram joked, “Where’s ICE when you need them????” as, ironically, she does seem to have a foreign accent. Another commenter replied to this, stating, “ICE won’t help. She’s not brown.” A third commenter quipped, “Is that Melania??” while another comment simply read, “She sounds like a foreigner“.
It’s unclear whether police later arrived on the scene to deal with the fallout from the White woman’s racist tirade, but one thing’s for sure: there’s absolutely no excuse to behave like this in public, whether she’s intoxicated or not. That sort of behavior is simply unacceptable.
