Kuro Games has continued to invest in their recently released gacha game, and the future looks bright for the players. Particularly in the waifus department, as the Wuthering Waves 1.1 banners feature Jinhsi and Changli for a limited time. However, the most significant and constant problem with every update of this kind of game is to decide which character to spend your money on, plus the F2P ones. So you should know all the relevant information about the current Resonators to understand how to adapt them to new team compositions and builds, how much money they need, or if you are only interested in their look.
Wuthering Waves 1.1 Jinhsi and Changli Banners
On the one hand, Kuro Games offers us the elegant, delicate, and distant, almost glacial, magistrate of Jinzhou: Jinhsi. At her young age, she is considered one of the strongest and most intelligent humans, so the Dragon Jue selected her as the leader of her city. Jinhsi and her broadblade use the dragon’s strength to create solid Heavy Attacks; with a decent build, this Resonator will make very high numbers with every hit. For her kit, Jinhsi can outperform Jiyan, just talking about raw ATK. However, regarding their teams, both DPS are in a complicated situation. Jinhsi, until Wuthering Waves Version 1.1, there is no dedicated Sub-DPS to get the most out of her build or Spectro Attribute.
As for Changli, she is a skilled user of the sword and the flames of her Fusion attribute by summoning the embracing power of a phoenix. However, she is a more avid opponent in the battle of intellects, which led her to become the counselor of the Jinzhou Magistrate. Changli’s role specializes in being a Fusion Sub-DPS, so she can be a better option than Mortefi. She also has excellent synergy with Resonators like Encore. From the units available so far, her banner in Wuthering Waves 1.1, Changli has more alternatives, and it seems she will not succumb to Power Creep so quickly.
Jinhsi is an excellent ATK unit; she will be a great addition to your team with her right build. However, keep in mind that she will not be in optimal condition. However, if, at some point, Wuthering Waves introduces a Sub-DPS Spectro to match Jinhsi’s kit, she will have another chance to shine. Changli may also have this opportunity if a Fusion DPS arrives someday. Time and future Resonators will tell; it’s up to the players to decide which mythological creature waifu they prefer: the dragon or the phoenix.
