Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari is a renowned fashion designer. Besides her thriving career, the 36-year-old is a doting mother to three children. With the trio growing fast, many hope to see Kristin Cavallari’s kids, like their mom, join the reality TV world early. However, it will not happen until they clock 18.
Kristin Cavallari’s Thoughts On Her Kids Being Reality TV Stars
Kristin gained international recognition in 2004 when she joined the cast of MTV’s Laguna Beach. Nearly two decades later, Kristin has opened up about her time on the show and what she wants for her three children. During an episode of The Jennifer Hudson Show, the host asked how Kristin would react if any of her kids wanted to be reality stars.
The cookbook author responded, noting that she would not let them pursue a career in entertainment until they were adults. “Well, I would say ‘no,’ until they are 18,” the mother of three revealed. Kristin then shared that if they wanted to join show business at 18, she would support her kids fully.
However, until then, she would not allow it, as she wanted them to “just be kids.” The star added that being in school and doing everything as a kid was already difficult. So, it was important to allow her children to focus on that and eventually cross the bridge when the time was right. “I’m just trying to keep them kids as long as possible,” Kristin concluded.
Kristin Talks About Her Time On ‘Laguna Beach’
Reality TV star Kristin Cavallari also spoke candidly about her appearance on Laguna Beach and life after. The television personality described the experience as a “wild ride.” Kristin said after many years, it felt great to be out of the entertainment industry, but “dip her toe” back in when she wanted. Now, Kristin is a businesswoman, cookbook and lifestyle guides writer, and fashion guru. Hopefully, she will set a great example for her children Camden, 10, Jaxon, 8, and Saylor, 7.
