Lili Reinhart criticized Kim Kardashian during the last Met Gala. This happened after Kim Kardashian shared that she underwent a strict weight loss diet to be able to fit into her Marilyn Monroe dress.
However, Lili Reinhart doesn’t think she will be invited to the next Met Gala due to her action.
Why Does Lili Reinhart Think She Won’t Be Invited To The Met Gala?
In an interview with Vogue, Kim disclosed that she lost thirteen pounds in three weeks using her strict diet routines. This was because she wanted to be able to fit into the Bob Mackie-designed dress Monroe wore in 1962.
The routine involved running on the treadmill while completely cutting out sugar and all carbs. She also revealed that she eats only the cleanest of veggies and protein. Although she revealed that she didn’t have to starve herself rather, she was strict on her diet.
Per E! News, Reinhart had disagreed with the idea of Kim going through all this just to be able to fit into a dress. The Look Both Ways actress called out the reality star in a cryptic post she made on her Instagram stories. She wrote, “To openly admit to starving yourself for the sake of the Met gala when you know that millions of people are looking up to you and taking note of your every word. The ignorance is very disgusting”.
Lili Reinhart Is Not Apologetic About Calling Kim Kardashian Out
Although this action might result in the TV star not getting an invitation to the next Met Gala, still the Riverdale actress doesn’t regret her actions in any way. Lili Reinhart stands firm in her criticism of Kim Kardashian’s drastic measure.
“I have always wanted to stand for something, I don’t like it if one comment by me turns into 17 articles in People magazine. I never overthink what I post, it has to be a true representation of how I feel and I would say that whether I had 100 followers or 100 million”. Reinhart said.
