The indie sensation Halls of Torment appeared on Steam at the end of May 2023 and have already gathered a fairly large fan base. The game has nice retro graphics from the late 90s and addictive gameplay similar to Vampire Survivors. Moreover, despite early access, you can find tons of content and stuff to do in Halls of Torment. Therefore, it is not surprising that players are wondering if the game will be available for consoles. So, read on to learn about all the platforms you can play Halls of Torment on.
Halls of Torment PS5 Release Date
The Steam release of Halls of Torment went very well. The game continues to sell well and receives only positive reviews. However, this is still early access, so Chasing Carrots are actively working on fixing various bugs and preparing for the release of the full version of Halls of Torment. Perhaps for this, and perhaps for some other reason, the developers are not going to release the game for PS5 at this time.
At the time of early access, Chasing Carrots didn’t say a word about the Halls of Torment port for PlayStation consoles. However, we do not think a console release is impossible. The success of the game will help the developers to make their title even better and maybe even release it for other platforms.
All Platforms Halls of Torment Available On
Unfortunately, Halls of Torment is only available on PC. It’s really frustrating because the game is similar in gameplay to Vampire Survivors. Moreover, the game already supports controllers. In other words, this symbiosis of Vampire Survivors and Diablo would play wonderfully on consoles, including the Nintendo Switch. But just like with PS5, there is no official news about porting the game to other platforms at the moment.
However, we really hope that Halls of Torment can follow the same path as Vampires. It can take quite some time, but since the game has a good start, we assume that it will handle it. Therefore, we can only hope that after the full release of the game, the developers will announce new platforms on which you can play Halls of Torment.
