In an unparalleled act of extrovertism, a California woman managed to convince dozens of total strangers to cheer and welcome her friend after she arrived at the airport.
The woman in question is Megan Million, an influencer whose content revolves around engaging with strangers in a wholesome manner. This, of course, wasn’t the exception, as she started to convince people around her to welcome her friend, Morgan.
“Join us, join us!” Megan told a man. Confused, he answered, “Join who? What are you doing?” The California woman told him, “So, Morgan’s about to come. My friend!“
It appears that Morgan’s name has some kind of spell attached to it, because the man immediately joined others in waiting for her. Megan then showed the sheer number of strangers she managed to rally up and join in her quest to give Morgan a warm welcome.
“All strangers here for Morgan,” a stranger said, excited. Another one, a woman, said, “Morgan, welcome home. Great job!“
Confused people fresh out of the escalator were met with an overly enthusiastic Megan, all willing to invest some of their time to welcome a woman whom they’ve never met and probably will never see again. She even got pilots to stay around to welcome her!
Morgan Arrives, Everyone Cheers
Seeing as Morgan was about to come down, the California woman started instructing the strangers on how to proceed. She told them Megan was “blond and tall,” giving away fist bumps while also witnessing how these strangers were ready to cheer and applaud as soon as Morgan emerged.
Eventually, Morgan arrived, with Megan announcing, “She’s here! She’s here!” Strangers around her started to cheer. Even though Morgan was seconds away from her strange-heavy warm welcome, Megan continued to convince randoms to join.
With Charlie Puth’s rendition of the “Star Spangled Banner,” Megan recorded Morgan’s reaction. She appeared confused, surprised, moved, and happy. Both women embraced in a warm hug, as the strangers recorded the moment, cheered and applauded, as they all intended to do.
Two million people liked the video, and close to 6,000 commented. Some were moved by such a gesture, while many others wondered how someone could be so extroverted.
“How does one acquire this level of social skills?” one user asked. Another one said, “The people yearn for community.” A third one added, “How easy you got people to join you, you could do anything with that skill.”
It is safe to say that Morgan will never forget what happened at that California airport, as well as those random strangers.
