Best Weapons for Mortefi in Wuthering Waves
The scientist’s greatest enemy is the Echos, those who jeopardize his experiments and the safety of Jinzhou’s citizens. Although this scientist is not aggressive, he will not hesitate to take his guns to fight back. So you must know which are the best weapons for Mortefi in Wuthering Waves:

Get an ATK boost with the Novaburst, although you will only get it after dodging three times during the rotation. Pistols #26 maximize the time on its bonus, but you must be a pro at dodge and parry to get the bonus. Otherwise, the effect of these guns will be mediocre.
Best Echo Sets for Mortefi
For Mortefi’s kit, his build must help him get more Energy Regen since his liberation requires a lot of energy and has a long cooldown. This is why Mortefi works best with DPS characters, which need to be on the field longer, while he provides a DMG bonus through Coordinated Attacks.

Mortefi is a great Sub-DPS due to his accessibility as a 4-star resonator. He is better at support than Chixia, but remember that your team requires DPS with longer rotations and Heavy Attacks.
