Part vampire, part human, possibly…part exclusive? During the Game Awards 2023 show, Arkane Lyon, the team behind the beloved and critically acclaimed Dishonored series is developing a Triple A, third person Blade action adventure. It was a shocking announcement, with few details in hand at the moment.

Marvel’s Blade Stuns at Game Awards

Marvel’s Blade is a mature, third-person action game set in Paris during a prolonged supernatural emergency. Vampires are terrorizing the streets, and Blade is the right hero to take them on by his lonesome. Arkane Lyon is promising their blend of immersive storytelling and fantastic action to bring Blade to life.

“As a kid of mixed origins, I felt a special connection to Blade – a hero with a dual heritage himself.”

Dinga Bakaba, Game Director, Arkane Lyon

No further details have been provided thus far, as development seems in the early stages. No news of whom might be voicing the titular hero as well. There was also no announcement about platform exclusivity at this time. We will have more news on Marvel’s Blade right here at The Nerd Stash in the coming weeks and months.
